Royal Enfield is all set to celebrate Bullet’s 80th anniversary in the month of June. The company is planning to celebrate this on 23rd and 24th June at the Watsonian-Squire works in Blockley, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. The company will celebrate this event by showing latest models and offering test rides on the same.
Royal Enfield Bullet has been the longest running production motorcycles in the world. It was originally made at Redditch in 1932 and ever since has been a remarkable machine which has seen tremendous success in the past 80 years of its existence.
Bullet was first manufactured in UK in 1932 while production ceased in 1962. Meanwhile, Royal Enfield had started a unit in Chennai, India back in 1955, which operates till date. The plant continues production till date and last year they sold 70,000bikes with a maximum number of them being Bullets.
The celebrations are set to take place at the Watsonian-Squire works in Blockley, Gloucestershire, with free entry to all and test rides on the 'latest' models available provided you've brought both parts of your driving license and some riding kit. See www.royal-enfield.com for updates.
